BrothersNarms, Forever Young.

John, there has not been a year since Feb '66 that I haven't given you a thought of the fun 12hr days on the McGuireAFB flightline, we worked the best with what little our 1611th OMS had. We got to McGuire from TechSch SheppardAFB about the same time. You and Luzzi (GenevaNY) and few others drew the O-1Es straw and we recipEng ones drew another avenue while most were able to go over to the new (1613thOMS) C130Es MAFB. We knew where we were going after the C118s closed the doors. Your ole MAFB room mate, Shehan, stayed with the c130s the AF and retired flying engineer commercial c130s and DC8s cargo.... Dushic came running up to me the evening after you went missing at Nha Trang, the msg slapped the wind out of me knowing we were just talking two days before for the 1st time since McGuire. I had just TDYed to Nha-Trang for two weeks from Bein-Hoa to support A1Es. At the time Luzzi was at An-Loc or near of, doing the same o-1E support same as you. You had the best attitude for all situations. I can understand why you were in the air that fateful day, covering the driver's back for one. Thanks for riding observer over the rest us ole MAFB people until we rotated.....God bless your family for letting your AF family to have/know you for the that short time....Forever Young..

Lest We Forget

In remembrance of all U.S. Servicemen that lost their lives in the Vietnam War. This Airman gave his life in direct support of the Forward Air Control mission.
When others ran or protested, this man stood tall and answered his country's call. Airman Cameron was lost while flying as an observer in an O-1 Birddog in support of the ARVN Airborne.
