Peace Be With You

Johnny, I remember you as a very gentle person. You amazed many of your friends with your snake-handling and climbing abilities. You were considered to be the "Tarzan" of our neighborhood. From our perspective, yours wasn't an easy life. As the oldest brother in a broken home you had to sacrifice much of your childhood for the sake of your siblings.

You lost your life too soon - before you really had a chance to experience much. Why you and all the others had to die is still a mystery to most of us. Now we are sending our sons to Serbia & Kosovo, another civil war region. We hope we don't make the same mistakes there that we made in Viet Nam.

Rest in peace my friend. You are not forgotten!

Gary
