Mike Was My Friend
Mike and I went into the Army together. We went through Basic and AIT training together. After AIT, at Fort Polk, Mike went to NCO training and I went to Viet Nam. Both of us served in the Infantry, but totally different units. I came back shortly after Mike was killed. Everybody thought that I knew, but there was no way of knowing over there. I was totally shocked. I didn't know Mike until we were drafted together, but we became good friends. I will never forget him as long as I live. God bless you Mike.
