do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will never truly die.

Remembered in honor of my dad

Terry my dad served with you. He passed away in 2014. But he never forgot you. He went to the wall. He made sure his kids new your name. Love to your family.

Classmate

Terry was a High School classmate. Chittenango (NY) Class of '66. We were friends as well. Funny, I never thought of him being in a Recon unit. But I will say he would have excelled in any MOS. Great guy and friend. Rest well Terry. Your war is over.
