high school
I went to high school with Lawrence. I remember being with him in a phy ed class during the wrestling sessions. He was much stronger than I was and could have flattened me quickly but was careful and even gave me pointers on how to do things. We had several classes together. He was always friendly and had a great sense of humor. I last saw him at the 63 Inn sometime after graduation. He was in uniform and looked good/fit. I had moved away from the area. I learned of his death somewhat later. A good guy.
