I am the Curator of the POW/MIA Bracelet Display in the Vietnam Hangar of the Palm Springs Air Museum in Palm Springs, California where we now have over two thousand bracelets honoring POWs, MIAs and KIAs and would be honored to include your bracelet in our Display should you have one. If you no longer have your bracelet or wish to keep yours or are an immediate family member (spouse, fiancé, sibling, child, grandchild, cousin, niece, nephew, or close friend) I can order one for the Display in your name with funds donated by our Museum visitors.

CWO James Butler is buried at Spring Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lillington, North Carolina.

CW Jim Butler was in my Fixed Wing Flight School and we served together in the 199th Aviation Company. I was his Platoon Leader when he a CPT Cozart were shot down. Jim was a gentle soul, an excellent soldier and exceptional pilot. I often think about how Jim and Cozart's lives were cut short and what they missed by being killed so young.

CWO Butler: We all searched so hard for you and CAP Cozart for an entire week both day & night. Our CIA contact officer related what happened. Glad you both were finally found & returned. God bless!
