On behalf of those who served with you in the 173rd Airborne Brigade (Separate) and all who followed, we offer our respect and remembrance of your ultimate sacrifice. May you never be forgotten and your family and friends take comfort in your valor in serving.

The war may be forgotten but the warrior will always be remembered. All gave Some-Some gave All. Rest in peace Sky Soldier Mike.

You lived 1/2 mile up the road from me, was my HS classmate and sucked me into being your sparing partner in the shop area of our school building in prep for one of your golden gloves tournament. I only agreed once, as you were out of my league. Thanks for your service, Mike, and for your sacrifice in a war that should never have happened.

I just wanted to let you know that I will have the honor of reading your loved one's name in Washington DC this year on Veteran's Day at the official Veteran's Day Ceremony of The Reading of the Names. As long as we continue to speak their names out loud, they will never be forgotten.

Dear Spec 4 Mike Bustos,
Thank you for your service. I do not know your MOS, only that you served in the Army. As another summer comes to an end, it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
