Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Steven Clarence Bush, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

My uncle

This man is my uncle.Even though I never met him i have great respect for him. After all the years hes been gone our family still toasts him at every holiday and talk of all the things he could have been and all the great things he had.He was a talented stock car driver and a remarkable mechanic. He and my mother were very close.I have his purple heart to remind me there are always greater sacrifices to be made .in the wake of his death my mother still served in the Air Force and still looks up to him.To all the men and women who served in that war thank you and to those who choose to remember great men like my uncle thank you.
