Uncle Monte
Uncle Monte was Dad's little brother. They were both born on Xmas day. I spoke with another soldier that fought with U.Monte. He said U.Monte was able to save many of his "brothers" during that horrendous fire fight on his fatal day. He truly was a hero. His childhood and life was not an easy one. May God rest his soul. Again, May God Rest his soul.
