honoring you as memorial day approaches....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. That you served two tours in Vietnam attests to your courage and devotion to our country. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home.

Always Remember

In the fall of 1990, I was a Freshman, a “Rook” at Norwich University, The Military College of Vermont. We ordered POW/MIA bracelets and when they came in, I was handed a red one with the name CWO Donald D. Burris Jr. The aluminum bracelet broke during training. It’s now 2020, and I still remember his name. Thank You!

Thank You

Dear CWO Donald Burris,
Thank you for your service as an Attack Helicopter Pilot. You are still MIA.
PLEASE COME HOME - YOU BELONG HERE.
It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Be at peace with the angels.

Rememberance of Don

It is a shame that someone so young has lost their life for their country. I appreciate Don's time of service greatly. Now that I've learned a little bit more about him, I will remember him and everything he has put into serving for our country.

Remembrance from Radnor High School

My name is Kirsten MacCormick from Radnor High School, and I would like to than this man, Don Burris, for his service in the war. It's awful that after all he did for his country he ended up not coming home, no one so selfless deserves that.
