Did not know him well but ...

Butch was about 2 years behind me in school in Ripley. I left Viet Nam in 1965. I just remember feeling very sad when I noticed his name on the wall. I simply remember him being such a nice guy.
Perhaps I will write more soon!

A good Friend and Marine From my Vietnam Experience.

Charlie we went through a lot of ambushes and fire fights together and made it through them. I will never forget June 1, 1967 you never had a chance.
