My Big Brother
John was a kind, gentle and bashful person. He enjoyed a
good laugh. He could be mean when I made him angry, but
usually he wasn't very ugly towards me. I used to run from our
mother and he would have to chase me down for her. The funniest
thing he ever did to me was the time we were on our screened in
porch and I was again going to run. He snuck up behind me,
while our mother and a belt had my full attention,he latched
the screen door behind me. When my mother lunged at me, of
course I took off like a rabbit. But as I hit the screen door it didn't move and I bounced right back into my mothers waiting arms. That was the worst butte whipping I ever received.I sure wish I could laugh with you again about that bubba. I owe you one. Semper-Fi and ooorah fellow devil dog.
All my love, Jack
