THE WALL OF FACES

Pat, you made me and a friend laugh all night at NY airport when we were each flying standby. Your uncle and Mom drove to Ny to pick us up. Such a fun spirit was taken too soon. I still think of you and that night often.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dear Cpl Patrick Burke,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

from what i have been reading i hear you were a good man. you would fight for your country and were willing to die for it. you fought well and fought hard you fought knowing you might not come back but you fought anyway you fought knowing that and that made you a great soldier, carrying your weapon into battle knowing your who platoon might not come back.
