Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will never die...

I was James partner in vietnam, with him when he was killed.

I would like to contact James family, wife and daughter, my name is Julian Barker (858) 245-0101
If anyone can help you are welcome to call me, my handle was “Coolj” for anyone from Camp Evans that were in the 101st security company 1970-71.
Four hours before James was killed we celebrated the birth of his 1st child, a baby girl. I’m always sad to think about it.
