"Uncle"
Uncle Ronnie - I never got to meet you because you were taken from this world far too young. You were so loved and have not been forgotten. Today my oldest son is preparing flags at his school to honor veterans and he will be honoring you. Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice you made for all of us. Some day I will meet you in heaven, but for now, I trust you are with your dad and mom (Grampy & Grammy as we called them) and your sister (my Auntie) Cheryl.

I'm respectfully offering my meager words to you Sgt. Ronald L. Bumpus out of true honor & regard for your complete sacrifice. I extend sympathies & condolences to those you left behind & I'm sorry you perished in that far away place for us.
