You Answered the Call
SSGT Bullard, you answered the call of your country at a time when we GIs were looked down upon and called names that we did not deserve, yet you not only served, you became a "Snake Eater," a Green Beret. That beret was not just handed out, it was Earned and I know you wore it proudly, as you should have. As a Nam Vet myself, I am well aware of how you and your buddies operated and the conditions you served under. You not only answered the call, you paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms and privileges that we enjoy today in the United States. Hand Salute to you, SSGT Bullard.

Correction
Dear SSGT Bullard,
I apologize. I was on an alphabetical list, which put the remembrance off by one. Please forgive me. Thank you for being a Special Forces Qualified Infantryman. I appreciate your service and sacrifice. God bless you.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SSGT Charles Dorian Bullard, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
