Thank You
Dear SSGT James Buchanan,
Thank you for your service as an Armor Reconnaissance Specialist. I am so sorry that you died on my birthday. Sigh. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice
I was just a young boy when you went to Myrick high school. I remember you drove the bus for the athletes. My dad, Coach Roy Bassett, was your coach. Like you he also served in the army. The impact that you, my dad, and other patriots I grew up with in Mississippi had had on me lead me to become an army paratrooper and an army officer.
You will never be forgotten!
