Dear Spec 4 Eddie Buchanan,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

This Memorial Day Weekend, we remember SP4 Buchanan as a patriot who gave all for freedom and liberty. May we live our lives in such a way as to be worthy of his sacrifice.

Eddie I think of you often and remember those hot summer days we spent at your house and the things we use to get into. Two of your three sisters are now with you and I know when my time comes I will be there with you. Thank you brother for your sacrifice. I enjoy my freedom today because of you and the others who fought and sacrificed so I would be able too. God bless you Eddie. Your cousin Kenny, oh yea say Hi to mine and your Dad for me.

It's been 47 years this week that we lost you my friend. I was with you that terrible day. I have never forgotten you Bucky and think of you often. Someday we'll all be together again. May you rest in peace with our Heavenly Father.
