Lost along side of my brother
My brother James R Shipman was killed along with you at the same battle. I was able to help bring the wall that heals to Kyle, Texas in May 2023. He was from Syracuse, NY and I currently live in Buda, TX. May your soul RIP. I hope you are together up in heaven and have lots to talk about. Thank you for your service

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.
