Vichnaya Pamiyat

You left this world 45 years today, but you will always be remembered for the wonderful person you were and how you enriched so many lives with your gentle spirit and kind heart. You were an inspiration and a joy for all who knew you, and you are sorely missed. Vichnaya Pamiyat, Vichnaya Pamiyat, Vichnaya Pamiyat.

Bohdan

It has been more than 40 years and I still think about you often. I think about the fun we had together that last night in the Village and about the good man you would have become. You died far too young.

The 50th Infantry Battalion Remembers

Bohdan Peter Brydun is fondly remembered by the soldiers with whom he served from “B” Company of the 1st Battalion (Mechanized), 50th Infantry. He was Killed In Action during the Battle of Tam Quan in Binh Dinh Province, Coastal Central Highlands, in the former Republic of South Vietnam.

Visit the Website of the Association formed by these 1/50th Vietnam Vets at: http://www.ichiban1.org

Post a note on our “Message Board” and possibly some of our members who served with Bohdan will respond. Search our site for photos and other documentation and/or contact me (Jim Sheppard, Association Historian) at the e-mail address provided here for details about our Memorial for our men lost in action at the current day 1/50th Battalion Headquarters at Fort Benning, Georgia. Memorial Wreath Laying Ceremonies are held every two years at the reunions of the 1/50th Association.

The 50th Infantry Association would like to hear from anyone in Bohdan’s family.
