Ground Casualty

SP4 William J. Bryant was a clerk-typist serving with A Company, 69th Signal Battalion. While serving in Vietnam, SP4 Bryant reported to the medical dispensary complaining of pain from a pilonidal cyst infection. He was treated and transferred to the 3rd Field Hospital where he died on August 18, 1967, the result of anaphylactic shock after an adverse reaction to penicillin therapy.
