Uncle Gary
When I was 17 I had a son but didn't have a name for him. With help from my mom, your sister I decided to name him Gary Lee after you. He died in 1987 and now he is in heaven with you. Take care and I love you both.

I served in Vietnam with Gary ay Charlie Co. 1/1
Gary was a friend and a fearless and great marine. He was just a good person and we had great confidence in each other.
He and I were fire team leaders in 3rd sq, 3rd platoon and had been through a lot of combat together
I was on the same patrol the day he was hit and I think of him often
God bless him and his family
