SFC William Brown is buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

According to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) website at the below link/URL, the remains of former MIA Sergeant First Class * William Theodore Brown, U.S. Army, U.S. Special Forces, were accounted for on 6 January 2011:

* While in MIA status, from 3 November 1969 until 8 January 1979 (Presumptive Finding of Death), SSG Brown was promoted to SFC.

Recovered with SFC Brown were fellow RT Maryland Special Forces soldiers Donald Shue and Gunther Wald.

Former MIA Sergeant First Class William Theodore Brown, U.S. Army, U.S. Special Forces, has his name chiseled into one of the "Courts of the Missing" (Vietnam War Section, Court "B"/Army) at the Honolulu Memorial in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (the "Punchbowl") on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii.
