Too young to die

PFC Brown was new in country and running point for ARPs. He was guided, with his platoon, by an aeroscout into an enemy bunker complex. Reaching the first bunker PFC Brown cautiously moved to the side to observe. He was immediately shot by the enemy that was hiding in another unseen bunker.

Thank You

Dear PFC William Brown,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. As a newlywed, we moved to Poughkeepsie. It is a good place to raise a family. My neighbor is buried in the same cemetery as you. I am sorry you could not continue to enjoy the area. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
