Farewell Good Buddy
Curt I only knew you for 8 short months at the U of DE, but we had some great times together which I cherish. I was a corpsman in the Navy at the NSA hospital in Da Nang when I read in the Stars and Stripes paper that you had been killed. A life ended far too short and we lost someone of great promise.

My big brother
One of the photos on this site shows Curt as a 16 year old holding the hand of a younger brother. I am that younger brother. Not a day goes by that I don't think about Curt and the love all of us felt for him--and the pain we all felt, and continue to feel, since his passing. He was a remarkable brother and human being who made everyone around him feel better to be alive. We will never forget him or his service.
