I remember Capt Brown

I served with him as a ground radio operator with the 19 TASS (Issue Control) based at Cu Chi, attached to the 25th Inf. Div. Capt Brown was a fine officer, a brave man and an American hero who knew not the meaning of fear. Apr 29, 2006 is the 36th year since we lost him to this world but he lives on with his family and his military unit of which I am proud to have been a member and honored to have know him.

Capt Wendell Lee Brown

Thank you to everyone who wrote in rememberance of my Daddy. He died when I was a baby. Although I never had the priviledge of knowing him, I will never forget the sacrifices he made for his country. He will always be loved and missed by his family.

I remember Capt Brown

I served with Capt. Brown in the 19 TASS based out of CU CHI, Vietnam, Republic of. He was a fearless pilot and I mean fearless. I was an enlisted ground radio operator. His call was ISSUE 33. I came back to the states in late April 70 after my first tour and got a letter from some of my friends that Cpt. Brown had gone down. I have put all that behind me until the wall came to Hickory last week and I went and found his name and one other officer I knew from the second tour with 21 TASS. I salute his courage. He was a fine officer.

Thank You All

Your memories are a treasure I will not forget. I am the son who cannot remember him. I was 2 years old when my Dad died. Photos, memories and stories like yours, plus one cockpit recording are the only memories I have of a father I've missed for as long as I can remember. Thank you all again.
