MUSEUM POW/MIA BRACELET DISPLAY

I am the Curator of the POW/MIA Bracelet Display in the Vietnam Hangar of the Palm Springs Air Museum in Palm Springs, California where we now have over two thousand bracelets and would be honored to include your bracelet in our Display. If you are an immediate family member (spouse, fiancé, sibling, son, daughter or grandchild) I can order one for the Display in your name.

Bracelet

I started wearing MIA bracelets continuously since about 1980, and the red aluminum ones would last 6-8 years before they wore so thin they'd break. I was wearing Richard's for most of my time on active duty in the late 1980s and in fact it actually broke off my wrist during a night patrol and I heard the "clink" of the two pieces hitting each other on the ground and was able to feel around and find the two pieces in total darkness. Still have them today.
