Robert Allon Brown
Robert was one of my best friends. He and I rode to Vietnam on the same ship the U.S.S. To Green County. We grew up together and we last saw each other in Danang. Before we both entered the Military we rode around in his GTO and we made a promise that we would come home. I will always love you Brother I was in Country when I got the news that he KIA. I'm sorry Brother when I got home I could not talk to your mom. I walked up to the door and I could not do it. He was a good Marine and I was Navy. His middle name was Allon and mine is Allen and we would laugh and call each other by our middle names.
