Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Paul Grice is especially poignant. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever....

Remembering Captain Brown

It's been a few days since I memorialized a Vietnam veteran. Thank you, Captain Brown, for everything that you did in Vietnam. It seems like you gave comfort to many soldiers and others there in Vietnam. God Bless You and comfort you with the 58,000 + service people in Heaven. We'll all be reunited soon.

The Letter

Merle was the minister of my Church in Norwich,ND in the late 60's. I was in Viet Nam when he died. It was ironic as I received a letter from him on that Easter Sunday that he died. Rest in peace Capt. Brown

Thank You

Dear Captain Merle Brown,
Thank you for serving as a Chaplin with the Army. Thank you for those you comforted by your presence and devotion to the Lord. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
