A Brief Memory From Patrick M. Gorman ..........

I knew Larry quite well through West Fullerton Little League. Larry was just the type of individual one instantly gravitated to upon first meeting him and that pull to share time with him never abated. I played center field for the West Fullerton Red Sox and Larry pitched for the West Fullerton Tigers. Even as a kid Larry was such a decent individual -- an individual who through his quiet mannerisms made one want to be a better person. After my family moved to the Bay Area I lost track of him and was very disheartened this morning to find him listed as a casualty of the Vietnam War. I also served in the Republic of South Vietnam -- a year or so before Larry arrived to serve his tour. I also recall just how wonderful his parents were. If anyone has any information other than what is posted here on the Wall of Remembrance please pass what you have on to me.

REMEMBRANCE OF A CLASSMATE

Larry and I were classmates at Buena Park High. I can still see him in the halls of the the school, always had a smile. I spent 21 years in the USAF and thought of Larry often. I visited with Larry at the Wall many years ago, and visit with him whenever the travelling Wall is nearby. I feel his loss even today.
