I remember walking to and from Merrill School with Ed and practicing our roles for The Princess and the Pea- He was the king and I was the queen.
I have thought of him a lot over the years and prayed for him and his family.

Dear Sgt Brown,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is another summer, as time continues to pass since Vietnam. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels

I just saw this webpage as I was looking for the family that belongs to an old photo. All I could remember is the last name was Brown and they had a son killed in Viet Nam. That brought me to his site. The Brown and Katterhenry families were friends of my dad from Beloit (Wis) High School. I have a photo of the two families. Edwin looks to be about 8 or 9. His two brothers are in the photo as well and I'm thinking, hoping that one of them would like this photo. Please contact me and I will send it.
