Thank you for your service as a Special Forces Qualified Clerk-Typist. It is another summer, as time continues to pass since Vietnam. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. January 29 this year was 50 years without you. Sadly, your adoring wife does not recall you as Alzheimer's has stolen that from her. But, I remember -- mostly stories since I was 3 1/2 when you died. But I think of you every day and struggle to find some piece of MY memory that holds you. I love you and miss you so. You have 2 beautiful adult grandchildren who have gentle hearts and they know you as well as I can share you with them.
