Not forgotten

Bobby, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting the freedoms we have today.

I arrived in-country jan 1969 and was assigned as plt/sgt of b/co 37th signal bn, I first met bobby brown when I took over the platoon,
In the month of february 1969 I was instructed to get 28 volunteers for further assignment to Phu Bai, Bobby Brown was one of the volunteers, They were to be attached to the 101st
for communications support in the A Shau Valley, The 101st called it Hamburger Hill, I do not know how Bobby Brown's life was taken, But I do know he was a Good Soldier and a Good Man and died in defending our Country. God Bless You Bobby Brown.
