We shared a tent at survival camp
Dave was exuberant… a graduate of the Goast Guard Academy which he referred to as the ZOO. I met with the civilian photographer who was aboard his Cutter when the United States Air Forces made several gun runs on his boat and killed him. What a waste. I was a Navy Photographer and we filmed his Cutter while making a movie of the Coast Guard in Vietnam. Friendly Fire BEAUTIFUL…BEAUTIFUL

USCG LTJG David C. Brostrom was the son of USN CMDR and Mrs. Charles Brostrom.
He was cremated, and his ashes were committed to the Pacific Ocean, off of the Golden Gates Bridge.
