You were special to us today, Major Broom
As we visited the Wall of Healing traveling through New Bern, NC, we selected a few random names to honor, make graphite rubbings and leave flowers. We were guided to your name. Sir, may God hold you in his arms until we can meet in heaven and although it feels inadequate to thank you for your service, please let us thank YOU for serving our great nation. Rest in peace, Major Broom.

THANKS
Dear Major Broom,
Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot (Various.) It is another summer, as time continues to pass since Vietnam. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

to my cousin
missed the chance to see the wall when it was in alaska, but was able to see it in georgia 8-17-14. took a rubbing of your name, and found this site. i was around four years old when you left. after high school i joined the navy to avoid the draft, ended up doing two hitches for a total of six years, than did three years in the army later on. it seems like this family has given enough. hope no one else has to serve, by now one would think our leaders could use the yong people of america in a more useful purpose.
