THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Dear Sgt Thomas Lipp, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Easter Saturday. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Tom Lipp's passing.

I prefer to think of it as his moving on to the happy hunting grounds in the sky.

He was a friend and mentor to many.

He is missed by all of those who had the opportunity to know him.

Tom taught me hunter education and I also went deer hunting with him. He was one of a kind, and he is very missed.
