We Will Remember

Last fall I I visited a booth sponsored by the Western Slope Blue Star Mothers at a local concert I attended in Montrose, CO. I chose a replica of the dog tag you wore that was created by then 15 year old Kyle Connor the founder of "We Will Remember". I chose your dog tag because you were close to my age and you sacrificed your life at the age of 19. I was in Boot Camp at the time of your loss. 59' Corvette

Thank you for your service Mr. Zoodsma. My uncle "Stan Milanowski" would like to add a story about your corvette he believes it was a white 59' convertible. He said you painted spots all over it and told your siblings it had measles to keep them from messin with it while you were gone. Hope anyone who knew you gets a chuckle from this story.

honoring you.....

In the sunlit springtime of our youth.
Those who did not come back alive remain
in perpetual springtime -- forever young --
And a part of them is with us always.
