Dear Cap Ronald Zinn, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantry Unit Commander, and for graduating from WEST POINT. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is spring and Lent. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

The “Friends of Rocky Versace” remember one of Rocky’s fellow alumni from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point (a Plebe in 1st Regiment when Rocky was a Firstie in 2d Regiment), Olympian Captain Ronald Lloyd Zinn, USMA Class of 1962, on what would’ve been his 80th birthday - 10 May 2019.

On behalf of myself and all the paratroopers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade (Sep.), the Herd, may you rest in peace and your family find com fort in the valor of your ultimate sacrifice.

Dad would speak fondly of you as his good friend, fellow West Point grad and Bravo Bull. Thank you for your service and the ultimate sacrifice. You will always be remembered. Now you and Dad can join each other in that Long Gray Line in Heaven. Be Thou At Peace.
