Dear Cpl John Zager, Thank you for your service as a Pioneer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Lent. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Corporal John Carl Zager was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as a Pioneer and was assigned to
