THE WALL OF FACES

Although I did not know you, I honor your name. Although I did not know you, I honor your history. Although I did not know you, I honor your service, because without you, I would not be free. I was 7 years old when you honored your country with your life. I am now 58 years old, because you were a citizen of the Home of the Brave.

Charles, it has been fifty years since that dreadful day when you and the other nine men courageously fought at our sides and were called to the service of our Lord. It was truly an honor and privilege for all of us to serve with you and you will forever live in our hearts, always be loved, and never forgotten. Rest in peace our heroic warrior.

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Charles.

Gene, it was a honor and privilege for us to have served with you and the other nine men of C.R.I.P. who so heroically paid the ultimate sacrifice that dreadful day in Feb. 1968. You will forever be missed and truly loved by each of us. Rest in peace American Hero. Wolfhounds Forever.

Charles, every day over the past 48 years you and our other nine “Brothers” who gave the ultimate sacrifice as they fought so bravely by our sides have always been remembered, missed, and truly loved by each of us. In each of our minds and hearts you all will live forever and we will never forget that you and the other nine men of CRIP have always been and continue to be the true heroes who we had the privilege and honor to serve with.
