Our Wolfhound Brother

Not a day goes by that we don’t recall and replay in our minds the memories of the times we spent together in the recon platoon as a team of one; a true “Band of Brothers”. Your gallant and heroic actions in each and every encounter we had on all of our missions will be always remembered by us all. It was an honor and privilege for us to serve with you and the other nine men of our “Mighty 10”. We thank you and we salute you our brother, and may you forever rest in peace; “Valiant Warrior”. You will always be loved and never forgotten.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Charles Eugene Youngblood, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
