I never met you, but I know your son. He and I worked together at Bell Helicopter. I remember when you were repatriated. Your son grew up to be a very fine man. I am sure you are very proud. From a grateful American.

Dear Cdr William Yarbrough, Thank you for your service as a Limited Duty Officer on the USS KITTY HAWK. Glad you were identified in 1985. Welcome Home. I researched you on the 47th anniversary of your status change. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

We thank you for your service and sacrifice. You are remembered, not forgotten because we utter your name with respect to honor you.
