Dear Sp4 Lanny Wright, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Direct Fire Crewman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Lanny, war took you from me. I will never have the chance to meet or talk to my biological dad. I am putting together memento's of your awards, pictures, and the flag given at your funeral. Thank you as you gave the ultimate sacrifice for our Country.
