Lance Corporal Kenneth Ray Wright was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for his exemplary courage in action. He served as a Rifleman and was assigned to M CO, 3RD BN, 9TH MARINES, 3RD MARDIV.

Dear Lcpl Kenneth Wright, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

May those who served never be forgotten. Rest in peace LCPL. Wright, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family. Semper Fidelis!
