Geneva

Cliff was my special friend at the end of our junior year at Ecolint, and saying goodby to him made leaving Geneva very hard. He is still much missed.

Uncle Cliff

Clifford was my mother's younger brother. She was 11 years older than him and always said she was like his second mother. Cliff came and worked at my parent's drive-in restaurant over the summer when I was growing up. I fondly remember him constantly teasing me and calling me by my nickname, Ness. He is very loved and missed.

Sipp School, Peoria,IL

Cliff was a classmate of mine at Sipp School in Peoria,IL. He was kind, quiet, disciplined boy who was helpful to all.He was a fine basketball player. He always followed directions. It broke my heart to learn he was a casualty. May God bless his soul.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Clifford Ivan Wright, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
