I remember the day you left the Duluth Airport, your last visit home. I saw you wave up at us from the window. Mom was never the same after you passed. There wasn't a day that one of us kids weren't reminded of you, especially the Family Bible you sent from Australia... It arrived after you passed. You always made me feel special as a little sister. That love has carried me, and still does. Although I did not understand the ramifications of the war at the time, I just new you were a hero, and I was proud of my big brother for that.
