Thank You

Dear PO2C Robert Worth, Thank you for your service as an Aviation Machinist's Mate 2nd Class. Your 76th birthday is soon, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Final Mission of ADJ2 Robert E. Worth

On December 19, 1970, a U.S. Navy helicopter UH-1B (tail number 63-12929) from Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron Three, Detachment Three was operating in An Xugen Province (IV Corps) when the aircraft crashed southeast of Kien Long, hitting ground inverted after a main blade failure from overhaul errors made at Bell Helicopter.
