For M/Gen Worley
I just took my Mother, Ethel Hardin's, ashes to Arlington to join my Father's, Lt.Gen E.C. Hardin Jr. I remember well as a little girl when Gen Worley's plane went down. After my Mother's death in December 2000, I found many articles and rememberances of M/Gen and Mrs. Worley. My parents thought very highly of them both. We went to The Wall this April in DC and made a rubbing of his name and will keep it and remember always his and his family's bravery.

If I should die. This is for General Worley
If I should die and leave you here awhile, be not like others sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust and weep. For MY sake, turn again to life and smile, Nerving thy heart and trembling hand, to do something to comfort other hearts than thine. Complete these dear unfinished tasks of mine, and I perchance may therein comfort you.
