Staff Sergeant Don Franklin Worley was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for his exemplary courage in action. He served as an Automatic Tracking Radar Specialist and was assigned to the 1043RD RADAR EVAL SQDN, 7TH AIR FORCE.

Dear SSgt Don Worley, Thank you for your service with the 104th Radar Eval Squadron. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Washington's birthday, and Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.
