THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world

Dear PFC Barry Wopinski, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman, I researched you on the 55th anniversary of the start of your tour, but your 55th anniversary is in 3 days, sigh. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Washington's birthday, and Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

Barry grew up in the home next to ours in Chicago. He has a lovely family. The entire neighborhood grieved upon learning of your death. Yours was a life cut too short and you're deeply missed.
