My Friend
I remember the day you died. You were right beside me and took most of the explosion and I only some. I came to your lifeless form on the rocks and felt a great sadness at your loss. Semper Fi my friend Corporal Chester W. Wilson.

Thanks
Dear Lcpl. Brittle,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is Independence Day, and it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

You were like my brother
Our fathers were brothers. Fred Stringer Brittle , my father and his younger brother, Adrian Couglar Brittle Sr. your father.
Our mothers were sisters, mine, Reta Mae Lane and your mother her younger sister, Bernice Lane. we were double first cousins, which made us closer than first cousins. About as close to being brothers as you could be without having the same parents. Losing you still hurts as much today as when you left, we are so proud of you and the sacrifice you made for others, you will always be a brother to me. Rest easy in Gods presence .

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Adrian Coogie Brittle Jr, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
